BACKGROUND
Clay McGurk started his career in law in 1990. Clay McGurk opened his solo law firm in California in 2005. The law firm has clients from all over the United States. Clay McGurk has drafted and filed many patent applications, trademark applications and trademark oppositions. Clay has advised his clients on a wide variety of intellectual property issues including drafting, revising and finalizing complex technology agreements, settlement agreements, website terms and conditions, licensing, technology transfer agreements, joint development agreements, trademark litigation, copyright registrations, cease and desist letters and trademark searches.
EDUCATION
Clay received his Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, a top 20 law school in the United States. He was an Associate Editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and a recipient of the Golden Quill Award. Clay received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Wright State University, which is located in Dayton, Ohio.
